Description Heritage Pointe, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Community Life Director to join our growing team. Heritage Pointe Senior Living is conveniently located near the heart of downtown Marshall, Minnesota. We have helped seniors Age Magnificently since 2013 in our gorgeous 58-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Our Community Life Directors becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position you will ensure the development, organization and coordination of facility and community resources to provide comprehensive Wellness/Recreation/Activity Services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. Our Community Life Director provides an ongoing program of community life activities. These activities are designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive Recreation/Wellness Assessment, the interests and preferences to encompass the Physical, Social, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Vocational, and Environmental well-being of each tenant. Duties include: Provide a Community Life program daily including evenings and weekends. Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies and provide for their accessibility through organized storage. Establishes Conduct, attend and participate in orientation, training, in-service education activities and staff meetings as assigned to maintain compliance. Communicate programs and develop positive relations with tenants, family, and volunteers. Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor. Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants.
