Lyon County Correctional Officer in Marshall, Minnesota
Admit, search, book, photograph, and fingerprint all incoming prisoners, issue necessary items, maintain jail logs and records during shift, administer CPR/first aid as required, conduct headcounts, security checks, maintain roster and location board, periodically inspect security devices, perform drug/alcohol testing. Provide custodial care and safety. Prepare inmates for court when needed, fill out necessary reports as well as receive and reviewing various reports, perform crisis intervention when required, monitor inmates and security cameras, and perform other related duties as required. Range of hourly pay is $24.65-$31.23, with two pay increases in the first year of employment and an additional $1.00 per hour incentive, with full county benefits. Schedule is a rotation of weekdays, weekends, holidays, as well as day & overnight shifts with opportunities for overtime pay. Position open until filled.
