Robert Half Customer Service Rep in Marshall, Michigan

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Rep in MARSHALL, Michigan. In this role, you will be actively liaising with various teams, including sales, operations, and accounting, as well as directly engaging with our customers. The position demands a strong understanding of customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle customer complaints, inquiries, and problems via phone, fax, or email, and ensure customer satisfaction by providing the best possible solutions.

• Actively participate in customer conference calls and occasionally travel to meet customers or visit other facilities.

• Assist outside sales representatives with all aspects of customer accounts, including answering product knowledge questions and processing orders.

• Ensure timely communication of production delays or other concerns to customers and sales teams.

• Accurately enter orders, estimates, and new cash customer details into the JD Edwards system.

• Initiate and follow through with ATPs (Available to Promise) to status 900, determine producing and shipping plants and dates.

• Process return goods authorizations, credit memos, and debit memos to maintain accurate customer records.

• Complete continuous improvement training and take a leadership role in continuous improvement projects.

• Utilize Office, Windows, and other relevant software systems for efficient task execution.

• Assist customers with orders by answering basic product knowledge or installation questions, and following up on production of material if necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role.

• Proficiency in 3M products and their applications.

• Experience with accounting software systems is a must.

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential.

• Experience in using CRM systems for customer management.

• Proficiency in using About Time software.

• Solid understanding of accounting functions.

• Experience in handling billing functions.

• Understanding of budget processes.

• Experience in campaign planning.

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a plus. TalentMatch®
