Black & McDonald is growing and seeking a skilled Senior Application Developer to join our dynamic team in Markham, ON. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive experience in ASP.NET, C#, React JS, and SQL to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that drive our business forward. As a Senior Application Developer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, architect scalable cloud infrastructures on Azure, and stay at the forefront of industry trends to ensure our solutions are both cutting-edge and robust.
Developer and Architect Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using ASP.NET, React.js, and SQL Server.
Architect and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure, including Web Apps and Azure SQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in ASP.NET and React.js.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in full lifecycle development
Strong experience with SQL Server and database design.
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, including Web Apps and Azure SQL.
Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with version control systems like Azure Repos, GIT
Knowledge of AI and automation technologies, such as machine learning frameworks is beneficial.
Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne is beneficial.
