Custom Staffing Crane Operator in Marion, Ohio
Custom Staffing is hiring for Crane Operators. We need operators for our Cranes, Shear Cranes, Material Handlers and Shear/Baler. You will be responsible for loading and unloading scrap metal material from Rail Cars, Open Top Trailers, Dumps, etc. at our Marion, OH location.
Reasonable experience with heavy equipment operation preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating the crane or baler under supervision.
- Loading and unloading scrap metal
- Inspecting the crane and baler to ensure its safety.
- Performing routine maintenance.
- Driving the crane within the worksite.
- Wearing PPE safety equipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining the crane.

- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
- Prior experience operating heavy machinery and mobile crane experience
