WestRock Company Entry Sheeter Operator in Marion, North Carolina
Summary:
Responsible for meeting production goals, operating sheeters while maintain production equipment numbers and quality, and determining production priorities. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager.
Safety:
Required - PPE must be worn while on your job. At a minimum safety glasses, steel toe shoes and hearing protection. Gloves are required on the production floor and warehouses at all times. Please see Appendix A and Appendix B (Conover Specific) attached to the WestRock Glove Policy (CompliantPro). Bump cap per company policy

Training:
Training requirements for this position are maintained in the Training Module of Compliant Pro.
Compliance with all workplace rules, policies and procedures, i.e. SQF, safety, etc.
Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses, hair nets, beard nets, composite/steel toe shoes, ear plugs, bump caps and gloves per glove policy.
· Testing and Measuring Ability (General Math): Ability to use and read basic measurement devices, (calculator, tape measure, and ruler.) Lift truck (fork-lift) certification. Ability to operate PH meter. General mechanical aptitude. Pass Farnsworth Munsel-100 Hue Test. Clamp truck certified.
· Written/Verbal Communications Skills: Must follow detailed instructions for training and quality.
· Computer Skills: Basic computer skills (Plant Floor Data Collection System)
· Knowledge of Cartons: Perform quality checks on board being processed.
Essential/Marginal Functions and Physical Requirements
Essential: Walking, standing, repetitive climbing of stairs, etc. Make ready sheeter, monitor product and monitor quality
Marginal: Assist on other machines in department. Assist in other positions on the press.
