Insight Global Manufacturing Cyber Security Engineer in Marion, Indiana

Job Description

Day to Day:

An OEM is looking for Manufacturing Cyber Security engineers to join their team at various manufacturing facilities across the US. They will help lead the implementation efforts in the plant to Get Secure and Stay Secure under the manufacturing cybersecurity program and supporting the plant in achieving all cybersecurity metrics, thereby, protecting the plant floor systems from being compromised or vulnerable to cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement cybersecurity controls and solutions developed under the manufacturing cybersecurity program.

  • Drives cybersecurity and network issues upstream for resolution.

  • Utilizes the plant IT reporting systems (e.g. ePO/Asset Inventory) to identify, communicate and fix endpoint security issues.

  • Maintains asset inventory of all manufacturing networked assets in the plant

  • Communicates and supports vulnerabilities remediation activities of IECN devices in the plant.

  • Engage central ME cybersecurity in assessing and reviewing newly proposed solutions or new applications at the plant.

  • Ensure Proper Usage of E-tools used to configure, troubleshoot and audit IECN networks

  • Provide inputs to central team and maintain STS/TIS for the plant IECN Ethernet troubleshooting

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves IF Controls Candidate:

* 3+ years of experience as controls engineer

* Experience programming and debugging PLCs using Allen Bradley

* Experience with HMIs

Must Have IF Network Engineer Candidate:

* 3+ years of experience in network engineering or cyber security

* Hands on experience with configuring or routing Cisco or Hirschman Switches

* Antivirus & Application control experience (McAfee Solidcore or Norton)

* Wireless networking/troubleshooting/documentation experience (Wireless Access Points/wireless channel experience)

* Experience upgrading cables and PCs Plusses IF Network Engineer Candidate:

* Any of the following certifications: CSSLP, SSCP, CASP, CSA+, CEH, CISM, CISA

* Experience troubleshooting network with Wireshark

* Experience working in a manufacturing setting and working on assembly machines

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)

* Experience in a critical infrastructure environment null
