JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Change Control Manager Department: Program Management POSITION SUMMARY The Change Control Manager (CCM) is a position within the Program Management Organization and has primary responsibilities for the day-to-day development and management of change/modifications to Trident\'s customers and suppliers. Change/Modifications include but not limited to, customer change requests, internal modifications, producibility business cases, and assistance in the make-buy process. The CCM will assist in planning, procurement and engineering of approved changes/modifications. The CCM will assist the Trident\'s PM in customer negotiations and attend customer meetings as required. Strong leadership, reporting and presentation skills are required as the position serves as the focal point for all change development and reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Position involves regular interaction with Trident planning/production/engineering/supply chain personnel to obtain material and labor estimates. Position is responsible for creating the labor and material cost and pricing estimates from information supplied by the functional groups (supply chain, planning and engineering). Position is responsible for completing the appropriate change forms, and final pricing for the proposed changes. Position is responsible for briefing the Regional VP, GM, and PMs describing the estimate, the risks, and the primary cost drivers. Ability to participate in technical complex ship design and construction discussions to fully understand scope and inputs required for a complete change proposal. Oversee the incorporation of all change/modifications throughout the organization with emphasis on budgets and schedule. Knowledge of planning, scheduling and progressing process and impacts to potential changes. Position involves assisting the PM in the negotiation of customer changes and assisting the Supply Chain in supplier claim recoveries. Prepares miscellaneous associated reports, charts and graphs on program, project or contract status and makes presentations to management to keep them apprised. Creates and maintains a Master Change/Claims log with comprehensive status of all open and closed (incorporated) changes/claims. Acts as the primary point of contact for the Customer with regards to all requested Change Proposals. Assist functional management in the performance of special assignments and projects to support of strategic planning efforts. Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
