Alaant Regional Account Manager in Houston, Texas

Alaant Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Regional Account Manager. Our client has been in the calibration space for 50+ years, working with thousands of clients in over 140 countries. They are expanding into the Houston market and need a results-driven sales professional to lead the effort.

The Regional Account Manager will drive new sales growth within their assigned geographic territory while cultivating and growing existing business relationships. This role involves managing all aspects of sales and sales support to maximize market share, building and maintaining strong connections with individual and corporate clients, and consistently engaging with customers to close deals at various levels of complexity.

Hours and Benefits for the Regional Account Manager:

  • $100,000-$120,000/year base, plus commission

Responsibilities for the Regional Account Manager:

  • Market Development: Develop and execute strategies to increase market share in the Houston market for calibration solutions, including tools and software.

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions and software within the calibration space to market and sell to prospective customers.

  • Customer management: Utilize CRM to maintain customer accounts, manage contracts, and track leads.

  • Communication: Present to prospective clients and staff at all levels of the organization, providing updates, presentations, and educational and training meetings.

Requirements for the Regional Account Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of sales experience in manufacturing, automation, or technical calibration.

  • Must have solutions sales experience

  • Experience in a hunter role as this role is 90% hunting and 10% farmer

  • Experience in a technical sales role with a robust rolodex is a plus!
