We are currently seeking a full time Building Maintenance Technician for our Marietta, Georgia office.
Position Description
Daily monitoring of common areas, break rooms, restrooms, and hallways for spills and hazards
Maintains a safe working environment
Troubleshoot repair/replace miscellaneous building components; light bulbs, ballast, door closers
Responds to daily needs from staff regarding facility, lighting, cubicles
Monitors emergency systems, (i.e., fire extinguishers, emergency lighting)
Assists customer service with inventory and stocking of administrative office supplies and cleaning supplies
Monitors Landscaping and cleaning crew
Maintains documentation of replaced/repaired facility components
Reports to Building Maintenance Supervisor any items exceeding basic repair/maintenance
Coordinates the pickup of shredding bins
Relocates, constructs cubicle components
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Requirements Education
- High School or equivalent
Requirements Technical
Ability to use power/hand tools
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 80 lbs.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Requirements
Ability to work as part of a team but also exhibit a high level of autonomy
Capable of multitasking
Capable of quickly absorbing a variety of test procedures and methods
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Capacity to handle fast-changing priorities in a quality-driven environment
Must be able to climb a ladder.
