Here, you will make an impact by:Having the opportunity to collaborate with the team in refining and enhancing social media best practices, all aimed at bolstering our Films business.Significantly impact our overall content strategy through continuous reporting, driving improvements and ensuring alignment with the dynamic landscape of social media.Spearhead pre-production efforts and oversee photo and video shoots for social media content, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and impactful results.Play a pivotal part in elevating brand awareness and fostering audience engagement through consistent communication/conversation with the wrap community.Partnering with influencers in this dynamic space, while also pinpointing opportunities to harness the power of user-generated content.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping comprehensive social media strategies, including competitive analysis, new product introductions, campaign planning, and evergreen content creation.Creating and managing social media content calendars, covering planning, content creation, copywriting, proofreading, approvals, and scheduling, on a monthly basis.Serving as the main user for corporate social media tools, including content publishing, competitive analysis, social listening, asset management, and routing and approvals.Reporting regularly on social media performance, conducting quarterly and annual assessments, and tracking competitors to identify optimization opportunities.Ensuring alignment between organic and paid social media efforts, coordinating with the Paid Media lead.Engaging with 3rd party community management/moderation team within our social media management platform (Sprinklr) for learnings that may adjust future content.Maintaining a document with relevant FAQs and crisis communication scenarios.Auditing social channels to garner insights on localizing content and sharing with other parts of the world as appropriate.Keeping updated with industry-related and cross-vertical social media trends.Providing occasional support for digital media efforts, optimizing YouTube channels, and managing content.Adhering to corporate media policies, governance, and brand standards.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFour (4) years of experience in managing social media platforms in a corporate or agency setting in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Proficiency in social media management platforms and tools (like Sprinklr, LinkIn Bio, Sprout Social, Figma), with experience in utilizing them to optimize engagement and track performance metrics.Current, valid Drivers License.Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, particularly within a compan with a high social media presence.Ability to create compelling and impactful social media content, tailored to different platforms and target audiences.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions to enhance social media strategy.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing content calendars, approvals, and scheduling.Experience in the following is preferable: Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Canva, Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office (advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across various channels.Get it done accountable and takes responsibility and ownership for own tasks, decisions, and outcomes.
