Here, you will make an impact by:Leading New Product Dev't teams as they commercialize next-generation Medical Device technologies that improve patient lives while driving improved health economics in the IV Site and Securement portfolios of MedSurg R&D.Leading cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time, within budget, and in alignment with the strategic objectives of the program. This includes effective management of project scope, resources, value proposition, technical approaches, manufacturing options, stakeholder communication ultimately leading to successful commercialization.Implements project management best practices to ensure the smooth execution and completion of projects. This involves establishing clear project plans, risk management strategies, and quality control measures to meet the high standards required in the medical device regulated industry.Determines project requirements and objectives by conducting detailed needs analyses, feasibility studies, and consultations with internal stakeholders and external partners. This role requires a keen ability to collaborate with the technical team to translate complex material and chemical specifications and performance requirements into actionable project plans.Willingness to be on-call as needed to address critical project issues or emergencies. This position requires a high level of dedication and flexibility, acknowledging that timely responses can be crucial to project success and continuity of supply.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of project management, product commercialization and/or team leadershipORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND eleven (11) years of project management, product commercialization, and/or team leadershipANDAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationBachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Science disciplineFive (5) y ars of experience with medical devices and FDA/ISO requirements.Demonstrated communication skills (oral, written and presentation)Experience leading global cross-functional teams.Microsoft Office and Project proficientExperience with New Product Introduction Process and Executing Gate Reviews, or other Phase-Gate ProcessWork location: Onsite Maplewood, MNTravel: May include up to 15% domestic/ international.Relocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
