ManpowerGroup Lab Technician in Maplewood, Minnesota
Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Lab Technician, for a 12+ month contract for a 100% onsite role in Maplewood MN. In this role you will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Maplewood MN (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h depending upon experience
What’s the Job?
Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
Worker performs mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
Follow TMs for various pieces of equipment and aging ovens.
Make prototype filter samples with glue, press and RMs.
Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or higher
Ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds and able to stand for 2 or more hours at a time
Ability to use a ladder/step stool to work from an elevated surface; have proficient hand eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Adaptability to team needs and working for many individuals in various groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including statistics and data analysis
Require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.
