Here, you will make an impact by:Develop and maintain an IT Talent Management framework and policies to ensure the effective delivery, management, and oversight of IT services.Develop and implement strategies for IT Labor across the Globe, including assessment of: skill set needs, location of types of labor, spans of control and layers of management.Work with HR in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top IT talent, including software developers, engineers, project managers, and IT specialists.Develop and implement programs for employee development, training, and career advancement, including mentoring, coaching, and skills development initiatives.Manage the campus recruiting and intern programs, as well as underserved community programs for the IT Organization.Develop and maintain an IT resource management strategy to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of IT resources.Maintain a roster of IT permanent and contractor staff with key attributes to maintain an understanding of management levels, volumes, location, skills, and utilization of people.Monitor resource utilization and capacity, identifying bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.Work with HR towards the desired culture for the IT organization embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and raising the levels of employee engagement.Lead the country site management teams for Global Service Centers and Centers of Excellence for IT.Management of Space Planning for the IT Organization.Management of the Administrative Assistants for the IT Organization.Business owner of the time tracking tool.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT Talent Management and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve our service delivery processes and practices.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFifteen (15 ) years IT professional experience in a private, public, government or military environmentFive (5) years experience in overseeing Global teams in a private, public, government or military environment.Five (5) years experience in in resource management in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.Proven ability to develop and exercise project plans with minimal supervision.A quick learner, detail oriented, organized, strong problem-solving skills and collaboration across teams, functions and organizations.Work location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood Headquarter at least 5 days per month or as needed)Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for emplo ment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
