The Cloud Automation Developer will have responsibility for enterprise automation and application cloud enablement including refactoring of automation and applications to cloud based capabilities.Here, you will make an impact by:Work with a team to develop automation solutions for 3Ms large-scale cloud migration with focused efforts to accelerate and enhance applications with cloud capabilitiesDesign and develop new automation solutions and processes for cloud resource management.Improving agility and services for key stakeholders across business and IT to allow for business demand, quicker insights and strengthened focus during and after large-scale migrations of diverse global applicationsSupporting 3M employees, business and IT leaders as well as 3M customers by increasing our speed of adaption for cloud as we enable transition with minimal business disruptionYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:High School diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Three (3) years of IT professional experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentThree (3) years of python developing or scripting experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.One (1) year of AWS Lambda, State Machine, and Cloud Formation experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Strong communication skills are necessary to engage with stakeholders, governance, and cross functional teamsExperience working on an Agile SCRUM development teamExperience using and developing solutions using cloud technologiesExperience using object orientated programming languagesExperience with a variety of database technologies and query languagesExperience developing and using Application Programming InterfacesExperience with Linux and Windows administration, support of various packaged applications and application integrationsExcellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skillsExperience working with global teamsWork location: Remote, USTravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum (but excluding persons in nonimmigrant status such as H-1B, L-1, F-1, etc.) or non-U.S. citizens.To comply with these laws, and in con unction with the review of candidates for those positions within 3M that may present access to export controlled technical data, 3M must assess employees' U.S. person status, as well as citizenship(s).The questions asked in this application are intended to assess this and will be used for evaluation purposes only. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
