Job Duties:
- This position requires the ability to perform basic dimensional inspections, reading of work orders and proper identification accuracy.
- This position requires the person to be physically able to stand for long periods of time, to perform repetitive motions and understand Grinding and Beveling operations.
- This position requires a person to be able to read inspection tools: tape measure, micrometers, hardness tester, calipers, and read customer specifications, work orders, and inspection sheets.
- This position requires a person to have the ability to operate lift trucks, overhead cranes, and pack materials.
- This position requires operator to be able to operate hand grinder efficiently and maintain a level of acceptable part quality per internal and customer part specifications/drawings.
- The grinder must be able to comprehend and complete work orders and production reporting reports accurately
- Operator must have the ability to report production of parts in computer system and hand held devices include generation of proper labels and plate IDs.
- Employee must participate and become actively engaged in the Company Traction & L10 Process.
