Location: Maple Grove, MN Work Mode: Hybrid, 3 days required Onsite About the Role The Senior Project Management Specialist is a key member of a Program Management Office (PMO) within the Peripheral Interventions business unit at Boston Scientific. As a part of PMO team, this role will be responsible to support NPD, Sustaining and Integration project management teams by utilizing tools and solutions to handle day-to-day business activities, which includes project support, data analytics, project finance reporting and process improvements. This role will have direct engagement with key stakeholders across the organization, and responsible for managing PMO tools and processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support implementation of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system. Subject matter expert for the creation, mapping, and closure of project codes using PPM system. Lead and support continuous improvement efforts for PM tools, systems and processes. Manage process improvement and application creation projects end to end for the PMO and R&D organization. Support Annual Operating Plan, quarterly forecasts, Cost Center Mapping, and monthly spending in partnership with the Finance team. Create and maintain portfolio analysis reports and dashboards using BI tools. Support creation of training material, templates, and best practices. Support project governance processes across project types. Coordinate with internal and external tool developers to improve current tools and implement new tools. Maintain PMO SharePoint and applications for user access and content. Support ad-hoc requests and projects for PMO team. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or Project Management. Minimum 5 years of related work experience in Engineering product development, Manufacturing, Project management or related field. Able to work independently and as a team member, and exercise good judgment to handle a variety of situations. Experience working in fast paced environment in a matrix organization. Preferred qualifications and competencies: Proficient using Power BI or Tableau business intelligence software & visualizations. Hands-on experience with Planisware software. Experience or knowledge of Product Development Process (PDP). Project management experience for tool creations and process improvement initiatives. PMP certification is desired but not required. Strong organization, execution, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools especially PowerBI, Excel and SharePoint. Proficient with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system, Planisware or similar. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information. Models and promotes collaboration and works effectively with others across the project team, organization, and stakeholders to achieve goals. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within project teams. Ability to work on multiple activities and initiatives with minimum supervision.
