Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to operate a Bridgeport milling center. The role involves performing precision machining on components used in various industries, including analytical instrumentation, life sciences, aerospace, defense, medical, and electronics.
Responsibilities
Operate Bridgeport milling center
Perform drilling, tapping, counter-sinking, and hole-making tasks
Read and interpret blueprints to complete machining tasks
Use manual lathe and mill for machining components
Perform inspections using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision
Work in a machine shop environment with a focus on accuracy and quality
Essential Skills
6+ months of manufacturing experience
Proficiency in manual machining
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with manual lathe and mill operations
Skilled in the use of calipers and micrometers for inspection
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with precision machining in industries such as aerospace, defense, and medical
ISO:9001 certification knowledge
Ability to work on multiple parts daily and perform prototype work

Work Environment
Our facility is a clean, 90,000 square foot shop, certified with ISO:9001. We operate as a job shop, working on multiple parts daily and performing some prototype work. The environment is conducive to precision and quality, ensuring a productive and enjoyable workspace.
