Instructional Designer – Remote

What's next for you? This great job. Kelly is looking for dynamic Instructional Designer for our top biotechnology client in Minnesota. This role is remote. The ideal candidate will have a skillset working with LMS, SCORM and development tools including Articulate, Storyline 3 and RISE. Please be prepared to share portfolio during the interview process. This is a 6-month contract role with possibility for extension.

* MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AS AN EMPLOYEE (ON W-2 BASIS) NO C2C, 1099, etc. **

Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Remote. Must be able to work Pacific time zone hours

Pay: $30.00/hour DOE & EDU

Job Description:

  • Review and work to improve the functionality of SCORM learning modules, designing and improving user interface of the modules.

  • A contractor to assist with design and review several key learning module projects

  • Experience in designing and creating learning tools

  • Have a skill set of working with LMS, SCORM and development tools including Articulate, Storyline 3 and RISE

  • Review of the learning module flow and design for consistency and the best learning experience

  • Able to review the modules and evaluate the design from a learner’s perspective

  • Editing with attention to detail

Education:

  • B.A./B.S. degree required. Instructional Design strongly preferred.

Education Preferred:

  • Instructional Design; Digital Content Strategy; Content Development (Storyline); Learning and Development Strategy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience as a courseware developer publishing with familiarity in e-learning standards like SCORM and AICC

  • Educational Design experience

  • SCORM creation, design and building

  • Medical device experience

  • Strong understanding of Anatomy

  • MUST have a skillset working with LMS, SCORM and development tools including Articulate, Storyline 3 and RISE Solid knowledge of course development software

  • Experience with vendor management as well as working with a diverse group of customers (i.e. physician, clinical, marketing)

  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects from start to finish with strong cross-functional stakeholder collaboration

  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills

  • Demonstrated ability to act with autonomy and independence while fulfilling priorities and meeting critical deadlines

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of internal and external groups in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative thinker, open to change, and learns quickly when facing new problems

  • Proven organizational and project management skills with a focus on digital

  • Demonstrate proficiency in using learning and design systems

  • Generate and champion new ideas and approaches

  • Promote collaboration across the organization
