We are seeking skilled and experienced MIG Welders to join our team for the 2nd shift. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding mild steel materials ranging from 11-gauge to 1/4" thickness. Your primary duties will include tacking welds, following blueprints, and grinding out welds as necessary. This position offers a mix of production and short-run welding, with job assignments based on individual skill sets. Entry-level candidates will primarily focus on production welding, while experienced welders will have the opportunity to engage in more short-run projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel materials according to specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate weld placements

• Tack welds to secure components in position

• Conduct grinding to remove any imperfections or excess weld material

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Meet production goals and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Proficient in tacking welds and conducting fabrication operations

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weld placement

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical stamina to perform welding tasks for extended periods

Compensation:

• Starting pay of $24 to $25 per hour for Technical Graduates

• Experienced welders can earn up to $30 per hour
