Job Title: Machine Operator - Bakery
A pizza processing company located in Manteno, IL is looking to add up to 20 new employees to the team!
Seeking candidates that have GMP experience, is comfortable working in a warmer environment, and is seeking a long term opportunity.

Description:
Candidates will be responsible for setting up, monitoring and changing over food processing equipment to make pizzas
In the bakery department candidates are mainly operating mixing machines, filling machines and baggers
Candidates can switch between operating a mixer, filler and grinding machine work in teams of 3-4
Reading and interpreting a batch ticket to make dough
Candidates will be setting up and monitoring equipment on the line including mixing machines, fillers, oven, pressed, baggers, cartoners etc.
Responsible for monitoring temperatures, speed, durations, changing out rolls, wiping down machinery, making adjustments clearing jams etc.
Shifts Available:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Pay is $18 - 21.50/hr
+ Shift Differential ($0.75 - $1.00)

Work Environment
The production floor is divided into a toppings department with 4 lines in a cooler environment and a bakery side with nine lines in a warmer setting. The facility houses approximately 100 people per shift, identified by helmet color, in a clean and well-organized space that smells delightfully of pizza. Ambient temperatures range from 40-45*F. Work includes packing, stacking cases, sweeping, and lifting up to 50lbs. Safety attire required includes smocks, hair and beard nets, hearing protection, hard hats, safety glasses, and slip-resistant shoes. Work hours cover 3 shifts, with mandatory Saturdays if scheduled.
