The Account Manager Aftermarket Sales (d/f/m) is responsible for the sale of SCIEX Aftermarket Products that may include but are not limited to Services, Service Contracts, Software, Training, Consumables and Chemistries within designated accounts.
Your main responsibilities:
Drive revenue and order growth in assigned territory (South Germany) with focus on consultative selling
Follow up on existing customers, new customer acquisition, cross-selling to existing customers, and working with distribution channels for increased sales
Negotiate complex sales of the complete aftermarket portfolio focusing on customers that represent 80% of the revenue
Visit customers and identify buying influences and position SCIEX value proposition
Build up relationships with key decision makers, influencers and establish new business opportunities
Review the success of current business solutions at the accounts and develop new opportunities through account planning
Increase the revenue by account by developing business using the full aftermarket portfolio.
Be the primary contact for IAS Sales when it comes to positioning upfront contracts and other services at point of instrument sales
Own and drive new aftermarket product introductions within territory
Work closely with the Aftermarket (Inside) Sales and -Specialists Team to optimize effectiveness of sales process for aftermarket products and services
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent education
Work experience in direct sales / aftermarket sales
Understanding of product portfolio in a specific analytical/scientific area
Experience with sales principles, methods, prospecting techniques to strengthen networks and improve sales cycle
Proficient understanding of business dealings/situations (risks & opportunities) to support business growth in a sales territory
Excellent knowledge of sales processes, different sales markets and aftermarket
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
Previous experience with Oracle and Sales Force system preferred
Completion of additional courses in sales or marketing are desirable
Good communication abilities verbally and written in German and English
Additional Requirements:
Travel required/Valid Passport/Valid Driver's License
Travel within assigned geography, approx. 30% overnight travel may be required
