Bolton & Menk is now accepting internship applications for a Natural Resources Intern to join our team in Mankato for summer 2024. What You Will Be Doing:
As a Natural Resources Intern, you will spend the majority of your time assisting and/or performing vegetation surveys for wetland and prairie restorations.This will include:
Conducting vegetations plot and meander surveys
Collecting field data
Analysis of field data to determine vegetation parameters
In this role we are looking for students who have plant identification experience through internships or coursework. This position will require working outdoor conditions for the majority of your day. You must be physically able to navigate rugged terrain for the purpose of performing the duties described above.
What We Are Looking For:
Selected candidates will be enrolled in Biology, Ecology, Environmental or Soil Science program or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Plant identification experience through internships or coursework.
Good interpersonal written & verbal communication skills.
Good time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
The process of reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and conducting interviews will begin December 2023 until position is filled.
Relocation and housing are not included.
