COUNTY OF MANITOWOC ON CALL Deputy Coroner in MANITOWOC, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manitowoc County has an immediate need for dedicated and qualified individuals to join our forensic staff as a Temporary/On Call Deputy Coroner. These positions are responsible for investigating deaths, ordering and assisting with autopsies, conducting other post mortem exams and collection of evidence from a body. Deputy coroners are required to sign up for a minimum 80 hours of on call time each month. These hours must include some nights, weekends, and holidays. Note this position is classified as Temporary/On Call and is not benefit eligible. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A medical background is extremely beneficial. Students in these programs may apply. Knowledge of medications, physical assessments and medical records evaluation.
