JOB OVERVIEW Responsible for the internal appearance of the building through cleaning and tidying the premises as well as stocking soaps and paper products as needed. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Completing daily tasks on time Cleaning Surfaces that are high touch area daily Making daily presents known and visible Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and wiping/dusting surfaces as needed Sweeping and mopping floors as well as vacuuming carpets Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks and showers windows, mirrors Restock necessary items such as soap and paper products Maintain outer premises by cleaning entrances and windows Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests Report major damages Other job duties as assigned per the needs of the Company Garbage and cardboard recycling. Clean and maintain floors. Set-up for employee lunches and other employee appreciations. Maintains compliance with company safety, OSHA, and customer-specific safety standards. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Must pass required background check, drug screen and physical test PREFERRED SKILLS Good references with excellent work attendance and attitude Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to constructive feedback Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components Attention to detail and conscientiousness Position Requirements EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
