RELX INC Digital Functional Support Analyst in Manila, Philippines
The Digital Functional Support Analyst will work with RX Global Technology to configure our in-house global registration platform (Mercury). You will play a key role in the global rollout of one of our most complex digital products. You will translate the requirements from the registration brief into the eCommerce platform (Magento) using front-end UI and backend Magento. You will build strong relationships with the Functional Coordinators to understand business requirements and timescales, and you will be required to understand the end-to-end registration process from pre-registration through to on-site at show. You will have a high attention to detail and a passion for delivering high quality work.
Accountabilities
Responsible for functional setup and configuration of the RX global in-house online registration platform (Mercury)
Take the registration requirements and translate these into our eCommerce platform (Magento) using our front-end UI and some manual manipulation of Magento
Responsible for ensuring the configuration and registration forms are accurate and error free
Trouble shoot and identify configuration issues and recommend improvements to ways of working and processes
Safely implement mid-registration changes to production forms, requested by our Business Units to rapidly respond to market needs
Understand the complex RX product architecture and the end-to-end processes, and the impact of these on Mercury registration
Suggest and implement best practice and ways of working in collaboration with the Mercury product and Product Success teams
Build strong relationships with the Functional Coordinators (who are responsible for liaising with the global business units to gather requirements and project manage the end-to-end setup of registration)
Essential Skills and Experience
Experience of eCommerce system configuration
High attention to detail
Experience of quality testing system configuration
Web skills (HTML, CSS)
Content Management System exposure
Logical thinking with a problem-solving mindset
Troubleshooting technical issues
Preferred
Experience working with agile product development teams
Experience working with a multi-cultural organization across time zone and country boundaries
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in business English
Experience working with the software development lifecycle
Basic Web Skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS exposure (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager) a plus but not required
Effective communication of complex technical information
Other requirements
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field
1 year of working experience in a related field
