Job Title: 3rd Shift - Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves conducting inspections, testing, and sampling of materials, parts, and products throughout the production cycle to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Document and report inspection results, including any non-conformities or defects, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements, including ISO standards.

  • Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the quality management system.

  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production, machine operation, and general labor.

  • Knowledge in assembly and inspection processes.

  • Familiarity with CNC operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • HS Diploma is required if the candidate does not have experience.

  • HS Diploma is not required for candidates with 3 plus years of relatable experience.

  • Any production or machine operating experience is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Open to candidates with good work experience in other industries if they have a genuine interest in manufacturing and the ability to learn quickly.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting where safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes/boots are required. The facility is climate-controlled but can feel slightly warmer due to the molding machines. The shift for this position is 3rd Shift - Sunday to Thursday from 11pm to 7:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manheim, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.22 - $21.22/hr.
