Currently CP Unlimited is seeking a temporary Speech Accessibility Project Manager to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Speech Accessibility Project Manager will be a professional or otherwise qualified staff member with proficient computer skills. Provide services that will address the needs of the project including collecting speech samples from 100 people with speech impairments and data tracking.

POSITION DUTIES:

  1. Conducts Intake screenings to gather consent signatures and biographical information about participants.

  2. Meet regularly or needed with Mark Hasegawa’s team to gain a clear understanding of the data collection process

  3. Visit participants who will provide speech samples as part of the data collection process.

  4. Schedule and Assist participants in recording their speech and completing the task

  5. Assist participants in sign up, create an email as applicable, maintain email sign on information

  6. Communicate regularly (or as determined) with Mark Hasegawa's team to update on progress.

  7. Maintain information spreadsheets and database on participants.

  8. Assist in distributing gift cards to participants upon completion of participant speech sample.

  9. Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Associates Degree

  2. Must be able to travel to various locations to oversee participants.

  3. Demonstrates proficient computer skills in Excel & Word.

  4. Good oral and written communication skills

  5. Attend/participate in mandatory educational programs as defined by the agency, department policy and by New York State.

  6. Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency’s corporate compliance program, including the code of business conduct, the NYS and federal false claims acts, whistleblower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all corporate compliance investigations and reviews.
