Bowery Residents Committee Shift Supervisor - 55 West 110th Street in Manhattan, New York

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for monitoring and supervising all PEP activities and assigned staff. This includes, but is not limited to record keeping and all necessary reports and clinical notes. Responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are followed by staff on their shift, including security and fire safety of the building. Must be available for weekly program meetings. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.

HOURS:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

  • Sun-Thurs 3pm-11:30pm

  • Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am

  • Tues-Sat 7am-3:30pm

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    H.S. diploma/GED required. B.A. preferred. One year supervisory experience preferred. Experience working with homeless, mentally ill, and substance abuse populations preferred. Experience working in residential settings also preferred. Very good writing skills and computer literacy required. First Aid and Fire Safety certification, or ability to pass tests to acquire these credentials, required. Bilingual Spanish a plus. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
