Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Manhasset, New York

Description We are seeking a diligent and efficient Administrative Assistant for our team based in Manhasset, New York. This role primarily revolves around performing typing and data entry tasks to support the operations of the organization. The selected candidate will be expected to handle confidential information with discretion and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Type correspondence, reports, memos, and other documents from handwritten, typed, or electronic sources.

• Enter data into computer systems and databases with accuracy and speed.

• Format documents according to established guidelines, including font styles, margins, and spacing.

• Proofread typed documents for errors and inconsistencies.

• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for documents and records.

• Organize and index files for easy retrieval and reference.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding typing and data entry assignments.

• Respond to inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of typed documents and data entry tasks.

• Review and verify data for errors or discrepancies.

• Provide administrative support to other departments as needed, including copying, scanning, and filing documents. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls

• Demonstrated ability in customer service

• Proficient in data entry tasks

• Ability to manage email correspondence effectively

• Experience in scheduling appointments

• Strong administrative skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• High level of professionalism and integrity

• Good time management skills.
