The Inland Group of Companies HR Coordinator in Manchester, New Hampshire


OVERVIEW:The HR Assistant is responsible to fulfill various shared services activities supporting all countries within the Inland Group of Companies with particular focus on supporting administrative learning of HR systems, regulated training requirements, coordination of succession planning and other learning and development activity.

This position will be based in our Manchester, NH Office, however until it is safe to return due to COVID Social distancing requirements, the person will be working remotely.


  • Coordinate learning and development opportunities and scheduling of programs for identified learners.

  • Succession planning in collaboration with managers.

  • Liaise with relevant managers to identify high potential employees.

  • In collaboration with managers, identify leadership gaps and suggest appropriate development programs to prepare high potential employees for the next level of leadership.

  • Coordinate, schedule and execute training programs including but not limited to Inland University, Harassment, I-9, Reasonable Suspicion, and Affirmative Action Awareness Training.

  • Develop in-house learning content for HR systems and HR-related tasks.

  • Onboarding of HR tasks and systems with new supervisors, managers and corporate employees including welcome group sessions, using remote technology, for new employees.

  • Schedule, monitor and report on learning and development initiatives.

  • Research, evaluate and recommend new learning and development opportunities.

  • Ensure documentation of completed programs in employee file.

  • Coordination of FMLA leave and other leaves of absence.

  • Develop and maintain all HR related training documents.

  • Group presentation as required.

  • In consultation with subject matter experts, development of standard operating procedures documents related to HR tasks.

  • Maintenance of job description library and document identification and retention control.

  • Liaise with Training Department on shared initiatives, in-house course content, and maintenance of HR section of Company portal.

  • Other human resources activities as required.


  • Post-secondary education in human resources or equivalent experience and education;

  • Ability to customize learning experiences for various learning styles;

  • Minimum two years of related experience;

  • Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

  • Ability to lead projects and follow through on identified tasks assigned including reporting on status of project.

  • Demonstrated excellence in providing customer service.

  • Ability to utilize remote technology to deliver training.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

  • Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills with ability to listen to others and value opinions, interpret information, promote and execute ideas.

  • Ability to prepare effective reports and aesthetically pleasing presentations.

  • Ability to work with remote operations facilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimum direction while achieving objectives.

  • Team player with ability to take initiative.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills to manipulate multiple projects and conflicting deadlines.
