Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed estimates based on customer requirements.
• Analyze costs, materials, and labor to ensure estimates align with the customers budget.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and Operations Director, and office staff, providing clear updates on project progress.
• Conduct chimney and fireplace inspections and recommend solutions to clients.
• Follow up with customers throughout the process, offering guidance and support.
• Assist in sweeping and servicing wood and gas hearth appliances.
• Build strong relationships with customers to promote services and secure future sales.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain working knowledge of all fireplaces, stoves, and related products along with any manufacturer\'s changes.
• Ability to manipulate and safely use all required equipment and PPE.
• Practice the \"5 S Principles\": Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain

Qualifications and Requirements

• Customer service and or Sales experience in a trade-focused industry required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with construction or chimney and fireplace industry experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required, some college or college degree is preferred but not required.
• Strong sense of professionalism, honesty, and discretion.
• Ability to diplomatically navigate demanding situations and requests.
• Candidates must have experience working with hand and power tools, be mechanically inclined, and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and meet our driving standards.
• Will be required to become certified by the National Fireplace Institute.
• Ability to manipulate and safely use all required equipment and PPE.

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee will constantly be on their feet walking and standing. The employee will frequently be required to reach, handle (hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hand or hands), finger (picking, pinching, fine manipulation). The employee is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb stairs, push, and pull. The employee will occasionally be required to lift and/or move 75+ pounds.

Work Environment:This position s conducted in both interior and exterior settings. The ability to withstand prolonged exposure to varied outside temperatures and inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time is required. This position requires employees to work at heights on top of roofs of various stories.
