**[SUMMARY OF POSITION:[Performs skilled work in the construction, maintenance and repair of water or sewer system mains, appurtenances, facilities, and equipment. Operates construction equipment. Performs general maintenance work.
**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Graduation from high school or vocational school and three (3) years of related water or sewer system maintenance experience. Equivalent construction experience may be substituted for minimum experience required. One years experience operating heavy construction equipment.
LICENSE:Must hold valid Class B Commercial Drivers License with air brake endorsement. Water distribution system certificate as issued by State of Connecticut Department of Public Health at the class of the distribution system (Class 2 or 3), or a sanitary sewer collection system certification desirable. *]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}*
