Process Technicians are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the production processes in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift equipment support team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Process Technicians monitor equipment performance and area efficiency, monitor and react to idle with product equipment, perform queue time management, focus on social skills, and self performance and development.
Qualifications :
Monitor Equipment Performance and Area Efficiency
Follow procedures while using applications to monitor equipment and enhance efficiency
Uses available resources and tools to recognize potential capacity constraints
Understands and applies area specific applications and procedures for troubleshooting basic area issues
Monitor and react to IWP
Suggest changes in tool setups to maximize efficiency
Monitor Equipment Performance and Area Efficiency
Follow procedures while using applications to monitor equipment and maximize efficiency
Applies available resources and tools to recognize potential capacity constraints
Understands and uses area specific applications and procedures for troubleshooting basic area issues
Queue time Management
Monitor and react to Queue Time
Understand Probe Queue time and the impact to product
Ensure lots do not breach Q time
Bag Materiel in jeopardy of breaching
Understand and react to probe Q time reports
Area Holds and Requests
Emphasizes focus on high constraint tools
Monitors and releases area holds as per procedure
Completes On hold split, Merges and runs catalog merges
Implements CQ and engineering requests
Raises CQ and engineering request issues or concerns to engineering or supervisor
Writes Quality Deviation reports per procedures
Performance & Development
Continually Develops Self
Completes assigned projects and tasks
Accepts responsibility for personal mistakes and seeks clarification for future improvement
Demonstrates a continual progression of area knowledge
Regularly meets with supervisor to set expectations and review accountability for area level goals
Accepts feedback in a positive manner
Social Skills
Interacts and openly communicates with all levels of personnel
Shares information with the team that’s related to area changes and procedure updates
Communicates issues to the appropriate personnel and provides ideas for resolution
Displays professional and effective communication in both written and verbal forms
Builds, delivers and receives daily passdown. Both written and verbal at each shift change
Drive Improvements and Enhancements
Provides feedback to appropriate personnel on the performance of the tools or processes
Makes recommendation about tool or workstation efficiency improvements
Makes changes or recommendations to procedures that are unclear or out-of-date
Identifies defects and suggests enhancements for area improvements
Participates in area improvement projects as requests
