Three Saints Bay, LLC, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Team. This position can be worked remotely on the East Coast/Eastern time zone.

Position Overview:

The Business Development Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting the Business Development Team with administrative, business development, and capture activities in pursuit of Federal Government contracts. This role involves understanding customer requirements, communicating effectively with internal/external teams, and crafting comprehensive responses to RFIs and proposals in a timely manner. This position is a pathway to Proposal and Capture Management for an individual who aspires to learn and expand their skills within a growing business development team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support activities to further business development and capture activities

  • Review multiple sites for incoming RFIs from potential customers.

  • Input opportunities into company pipelines, as well as maintain pipelines with routine updates.

  • Monitor, identify, log, communicate and track Task Order RFPs on the GWAC / IDIQ vehicles.

  • Assist with capture efforts, to include basic opportunity research, quick identification of incumbent contractors, creation of gap analysis templates

  • Responsible for assisting with proposal development activities such as kick-off slide creation, creating compliance matrices, formatting documents, formatting resumes, and populating responses.

  • Ensure proposal submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with RFP requirements and editorial specifications, as well as corporate quality and branding standards.

  • Support drafting RFI and proposal templates

  • Assist the activities of the business development team with research and analysis of opportunities within existing and potential markets.

  • Support proposal meetings, to include attending all meetings, taking notes, and producing any required documentation.

  • Conduct in-depth review and quality control for proposal submissions.

  • Conduct research to support capture and proposal efforts using a variety of methods / tools (GovWin IQ, usaspending.gov, FPDS).

  • Develop and distribute appropriate capture-related documentation and maintain the business development SharePoint sites.

  • Support company marketing material development and updates in support of outreach events such as industry days, opportunity teaming, and general networking.

  • Develop graphics, coordinate with other graphic artists, and maintain appropriate graphics use licenses.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of related Federal Business Development/Proposal experience

  • Document/graphic design and development standards

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.

  • Ability to work often unpredictable schedules, including overtime, evenings, and weekends; and often over holidays

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated BD/Proposal experience on IDIQ vehicles preferred

  • Experience working within an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) preferred.

  • Formal proposal management and project management training and education highly desirable

  • Ability to commute to the Manassas, VA office as needed preferred.
