CBTS Technology Solutions LLC Benefits Specialist in Manapakkam, Chennai, India

Job Purpose :

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day benefit administration of the company's benefit plans. This role will also be responsible for reporting, communicating with employees, and resolving benefit-related issues. Assists in the implementation and administration of new benefit programs, preparation and maintenance of benefits documentation.

Essential Functions :

  • Day-to-day administration of employee benefit plans including addressing employee benefit questions

  • Serve as a liaison with insurance carriers, third party administrators (TPAs), and consultants

  • Understand and maintain current knowledge of each benefit plan

  • Assist with projects, including, new hire benefits orientation, vendor coordination and eligibility updates

  • Audit benefit invoices to ensure timely payment to vendors

  • Processes Leave of Absence Requests

Education:

  • Four years of college resulting in a bachelor's degree or equivalent

Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:

N/A

Experience:

2 to 4 years in related field

Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Prior experience in a benefits function required

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and handle requests for sensitive information

  • Professional written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow-up in a timely manner

  • Must work well in a team-oriented environment

  • Skilled with Microsoft Office suite of programs

Supervisory Responsibility :

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment :

This position is fully remote.
