Job Title: Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager, US & Canada, and will be responsible for full ownership of the Canadian Entity. This includes performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, preparing financial reports, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. The role acts as a point of contact for the Canadian Entity which involves 3 manufacturing plants. The Senior Accountant will also be involved in preparing and recording complex monthly journal entries, preparing Balance Sheet account reconciliations, forecasting expenses in assigned accounts, coordinating with various department heads and service providers, and maintaining internal control compliance. Additional responsibilities include suggesting process improvements, creating and/or updating process documentation, monitoring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures, and preparing quarterly and annual schedules as required.

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical and confidential matters

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s). Given the need of the team, this is subject to go longer in duration.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
This role will report up to the Accounting Manager, US & Canada. The work schedule is 5 days a week.
