Vanguard HR Technology Specialist - Workday in Malvern, Pennsylvania
Vanguard is looking for HR Technologists to join our team in delivering a best-in-class experience for our crew (employees). The HR Technology Specialist - Workday owns the support and management of the assigned HR Technology portfolio and provides ongoing production and project support for our business partners and crew members. Leads system design, configuration, testing and support, production elevation and ongoing post-production support of solutions that drive our strategic business initiatives and technology portfolio optimization efforts. This is a functional configuration role, previous experience with configuration / administrative responsibilities is required.
Vanguard operates on a hybrid work model 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday, Friday). Fully remote work is unavailable for this position.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy Workday features to support and meet business goals and objectives. Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and optimization increasing Workday utilization.
Serve as a process expert for detailed functionality in within the products/domains supported and educate and mentor HR business teams in domain areas, providing guidance and consultation as required.
Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to solve issues and identify process efficiencies.
Develop and adhere to configuration and optimization standards. Test and evaluate HR vendor products. Develop, update, and keep current related documentation.
Support the accuracy and integrity of data by supporting risk and audit activities, security assessments, and access reviews. Ensure data integrity and privacy compliance for domains supported.
Responsible for identifying and prioritizing enhancements that will improve user experience, drive adoption, and maintain overall system hygiene and health.
Complete continuing education to increase domain and product knowledge beyond current skillset. Stay up to date on Workday releases and new features.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1+ years hands-on Workday configuration experience is required in HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, or Benefits.
1+ years’ experience managing a Workday implementation, upgrade, or enhancement project.
Experience with formatting, testing, and troubleshooting EIBS, adhering to controls in place for the protection of Crew data.
Experience with case management systems such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, including the ability to triage and manage assigned cases within assigned areas.
Demonstrated ability to message recommendations to a wide variety of audiences through clear communication in a compelling way.
Previous experience consulting with HR / Finance business leaders to understand their business needs and providing relevant options and solutions.
Minimum of three years related work experience.
Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
