The Vanguard Group Application Engineering Technical Lead - I in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Application Engineering Technical Lead -- I (The Vanguard Group, Inc. / Malvern, PA) -- Provide advanced level IT technical lead services, including direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new or existing technologies and tools; provide advanced level IT technical lead services and direction for software, middleware, or hardware projects on a single platform; provide technical expertise and complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities; ensure viability of IT deliverables; recommend development options and conduct testing; identify potential solutions and may approve solutions proposed by team members; resolve complex issues uncovered by testers and internal clients; communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and implications; evaluate impacts of change requests on technologies; maintain current knowledge of IT development methodology, architecture design, and technical standards; mentor IT staff with less experience and identify training needs; review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members; write documentation, including technical standards and processes; identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies; participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout product life cycle to contribute technical expertise and to identify issues; present technical status and issues at milestone reviews; utilize thorough understanding and compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures, and verify deliverables meet requirements; monitor Oracle Cloud tenancy; research and develop new Oracle Cloud solutions; troubleshoot Oracle Cloud infrastructure issues; implement new PaaS and SaaS solutions for Oracle Cloud Shared Services and Finance business departments; develop code to improve current systems and processes; coach junior level employees on new software, implementations, etc. Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related IT field and five years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Senior Oracle Applications Analyst and/or Technology Architect and/or Manager - Projects. Background in education, training or experience must include Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), background or certification in Oracle certified Financials Cloud, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Python, UNIX. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
