About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for Health and Safety Manager for Health & Safety Department to join Jumeirah Group.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Provide input for the development of the Group HSE processes and procedures and monitor their implementation from the SBUs providing insight and guidance for the resolution of any potential issue.
Develop and handle the execution of preventive maintenance plan for all safety equipment and facilities, assess their efficiency and operational ability and proceed to the required activities to keep them in best working condition and ensure high level of safety for guests and employees.
Assess the risks associated with implementation of HSE policies and procedures by carrying out risk assessments and special studies on safety matters and recommend corrective action to mitigate the risks in line with best practice and local regulations.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science discipline or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
Relevant HSE-related Certifications including NEBOSH and Accreditations.
Desired:
- University Degree or equivalent, preferably in Hospitality.
