What you will do:
As the Facilities Maintenance Planner, you will participate in outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, coordination, risk assessment, execution, and continuous improvement.
Responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning
Conduct field walk downs to identify and document job requirements
Identify specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work
Maintain roster of outside contractors with high quality performance that may be required for specialized maintenance work; support expediting of equipment and parts
Gather necessary engineering or technical documents, specifications, drawings and support documentation
Develop and write clear and concise work procedures
Plan parts for all projects and work to increase “wrench time” and maximize efficiency
Ensure all work orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished and that current, accurate data with sufficient detail has been entered into the CMMS (EAM)
Participate in breakdown and malfunction reviews with technical specialists and cell support, root cause analysis
What you need:
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Three (3) years’ relevant work experience
Preferred
- Experience in generating and managing work orders, scheduling in manufacturing setting, working within CMMS system
