Amazon FinOps Specialist, US Payroll, CX (L4), US-Payroll CX in Maharashtra, India

As the company continues to scale, we are seeking FinOps Specialist to develop the Payroll Financial Operations; within our rapidly growing Finance organization. This position will champion the innovation needed to pay our employees accurately and on Time, with the highest customer obsession and controllership, at the lowest cost to Amazon. This position will be responsible for all aspects of US Payroll Operations including: hiring, training; Managing group workload and establishing priorities; ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.

Key job responsibilities

• Review and establish causes for unfavorable trends in the key metrics such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), and provide root cause analysis and implement solutions.

• Willingness to roll up your sleeves to support scheduled and ad hoc payroll tasks such as reporting, reconciliations, tax filings and maintaining employee earning records

• Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload.

• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of internal business processes.

• Continually strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and look for enhancements related to current systems and procedures based on KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies.

• Ensure process is compliant as per the Controllership review.

• Demonstrate a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of finance experience

  • Knowledge of financial controls and procedures

  • • Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details.

  • • Advanced MS Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas).

  • • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • • Flexible to work in rotational shifts including US time zone.

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Payroll certification.
