nVent Applications Engineer / Technical Support Specialist (Electrical Design Software) in Madrid, Spain

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Understand the challenges faced by prospects, customers, and the industry in relation to electrical CAD driven software applications
Address customer issues over the phone, email, chat, and in person
Supervise progress on customer cases raised to vendors and 3rd party providers
Build and deliver software solution training and professional services (online and in-person) for customer implementations
Author blogs, videos, podcasts, and webinars to educate users and provide self-help
Suggest improvements to customer design and manufacturing processes in the electrical control systems market
Build new solution definitions to meet customer challenges using electrical design and manufacturing applications
Drive customer success with excellent customer interactions and experience
YOU HAVE:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of related experience, 5+ years of experience preferred
Fluent in English and Spanish with a strong ability to hold technical (engineering) conversation
Ability to travel 25% of the time on average with up to 50% and work from a remote home office
Experience delivering technical support, training, field support, or applications engineering support for software applications. Any implementation experience is highly preferred
Experience documenting requirements and proposing solutions with preference in the electrical or automation space with any AutoCAD Electrical experience helpful
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Experience working with standard relational databases like MS SQL, E3. series design suite Oracle is an asset
Proven experience in programming or project management is an asset
