At Winning Consulting, we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Business Development Manager for a major Forex broker recently established in Madrid. They provide services to companies and financial institutions that need to manage their foreign exchange exposure. We enable SME companies to trade globally by removing the barriers associated with traditional procedures.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about business development, eager to continue learning and growing professionally in Forex sales, and who have a proactive and positive attitude along with a healthy dose of competitiveness to overcome daily challenges. You will spend your time talking on the phone with potential clients, attending face-to-face meetings, building lasting relationships, and closing deals with prospects. You will also attend national trade shows to network with companies and advise them on FX-related products.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching potential clients to understand their business and potential requirements.

  • Making introductory calls to new corporate clients.

  • Developing sales channels.

  • Closing new business with the goal of developing long-term relationships.

  • Ensuring all revenue targets are met in compliance with Bank of Spain/CNMV regulations and keeping the client's interests at the forefront of all sales activities.

  • Building internal relationships with our trading team.

  • Meeting weekly and monthly performance, quality, and sales call targets.

  • Attending morning training sessions and participating in team/market briefings twice a day.

  • Staying up to date with changes in market structure and regulation.

  • Ideally having 18 to 24 months of experience in Forex sales.

  • Possessing strong communication skills and confidence both on the phone and in person.

  • Having experience in closing deals and building lasting relationships.

  • Being goal-oriented and persistent.

  • Having a B2/C1 level of English proficiency.
