JOB REQUIREMENTS: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, performs a variety of duties to include welding and fabrication according to the production schedule as well as the proper execution of tasks and general housekeeping/safety functions. Key Responsibilities Meet and perform all TIG welder requirements. Weld as schedule dictates. Operates various equipment to fabrication parts and sheet metal as needed Assists in training new employees. Monitors schedules and requests adjustments from supervisor as necessary. Makes adjustments to equipment or process as necessary and within established procedures. Makes job assignments as necessary and within established procedures. Maintains \"team\" environment within area of responsibilities. Assists in securing materials as required. Maintains proper records and reports. Communicates to Supervisors/Manager on any unusual conditions. Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems. Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor. Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Meets daily production schedule as assigned. Actively participates in the production of product as needed. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Assists in training new employees. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities Ability to effectively communicate with all production floor employees. Works with various hand and power tools. Understanding and application of TIG welding techniques. Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions. Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards. Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team. Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks. Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
