Description
Job Title: Systems Engineer – Hybrid/Cloud Infrastructure (Direct Hire)
Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid)
On behalf of our client, Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer. This full-time, direct hire position offers a salary range from $100,000 to $130,000 per year along with a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and managing hybrid-cloud infrastructure using Azure services and tools
Ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud applications and services
Managing VMWare hardware, storage, Rubrik backup, and related networking
Monitoring and troubleshooting complex cloud issues and incidents
Collaborating with other engineers and developers to deliver top-quality, efficient solutions
Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud technologies
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a Server Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Azure services, VMWare, Active Directory, Kerberos, DFS, DNS and related services
Familiarity with Dell servers and storage
Experience working with cloud security principles and practices
Excellent communication skills and an ability to troubleshoot and solve issues effectively
A certification in Azure or other cloud platforms is considered a plus
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred)
