MEAD & HUNT INC Structural Engineering Intern in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on structural engineering projects within our Building Engineering group at either of the following office locations: Madison, WI, Lexington, SC, or Sacramento, CA. This opportunity would be starting in May/June 2025 and ending in August/September 2025, and it also has potential to become a full-time engineering position. Responsibilities include: Assisting engineers, design technicians, and surveyors with structural engineering projects Performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates Other tasks as assigned Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil, architectural, or structural engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Class or work experience in steel, concrete, and masonry design Class or work experience with RISA, TEDDS, Enercalc Class or work experience with IBC Building Code and ASCE7 Class or work experience with MS Excel At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
