Financial Analyst needed in Madison!

One of our best clients located on the west side of Madison is in search of a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. Experience working with a publicly traded company is a big plus! Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive insights by merging data from diverse sources and leveraging analytics to guide business decision-making

  • Perform a detailed evaluation of financial results across various departments and company-wide, emphasizing potential risks and benefits

  • Offer strategic and tactical advice to leaders based on detailed financial examination

  • Communicate and illustrate financial findings and projections, ensuring reports are crisp, comprehensive and include assumptions and dependencies

  • Produce high-level presentations that encapsulate critical insights for top management

  • Facilitate the financial planning process through strategic and financial plan, as well as monthly forecasting approaches

  • Analyze existing spending to uncover potential areas for cost reduction

  • Regular review of current processes to identify potential enhancements or efficiencies

  • Prepare one off analyses for the top executives and the leadership board

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of finance experience is preferred

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications

  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis

  • Must be detail-oriented and analytical

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a team

  • Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
