What you will be doing: Serving as the lead accountant and point of contact for Shareholder Accounting Services that includes balance sheet reconciliations, process improvement recommendations, and financial statement preparation Assist with various accounting functions that include reviewing balance sheet items, financial analysis, creating SOPs, inventory management and reviewing general ledger details Preparation of bank statement reconciliations and providing in-depth analysis on future cash flow projections Oversight of daily inventory counts performed by warehouse personnel, variance reporting to oversight groups, and creating monthly trend analysis of inventory shortages/overages, outdated product, etc. Month-end reconciliation of inventory balances for all franchises including developing and documenting processes for Intercompany inventory transactions Assist the Director of Accounting with all budgeting, forecasting and financial planning and analysis functions Reviewing, assessing, and developing potential improvements to existing financial reporting software tools to assist the President, CFO, and Director group with decision making Provide Accounts Receivable analysis related to write-offs, aging reports and collectability concerns, compliance with Company policies and procedures, and reviewing processes for potential efficiencies What we are looking for: *Bachelor\'s and/or Master\'s degree in accounting. *CPA license preferred. *Proven knowledge of general accepted accounting principles, accounting theory and practices. *Proven project and/or process management with limited oversight. *Customer Service minded professional with a desire to build relationships both internally and externally. *Ability to meet daily and monthly deadlines. *Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
