JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Medical Lab Technician OR Medical Technologist - Transfusion Services - 23858 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full-time, FTE 1.0, 2nd shift position. Start time is either 3:00pm or 3:30 and end time is either 11:00pm or 11:30pm. Rotating weekends and holidays. On Call is required. Hours may vary based on departments needs. We are seeking a Senior Medical Lab Technician (MLT) /Medical Technologist (MT) -Transfusion Services to: * Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution. * Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, ability to work independently, and the ability to take on teaching/training responsibilities as needed. * Work as an effective team member as demonstrated by good relations with physicians, clinic staff and co-workers. OR education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either: * 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or * 24 semester hours of science courses Preferred - Bachelor\'s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
